Jérôme Lemonnier started playing piano at the age of 5. He pursued his musical education at the Ecole Normale Normale de Musique, then at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris and graduated from Sorbonne after following the Musicology program in 1984.
Jerome has composed, produced and published a number of soundtracks for the arts and entertainment industry. He worked for theater, television, advertising and multimedia, collaborating as a composer or arranger with many international artists (I Muvrini, Youssou N'Dour).
After meeting with the film maker and screen writer Denis Dercourt in 2006, Jerome started producing music and soundtracks for the film industry. His first production, 'The Page Tuner', was nominated for an award for 'Best Original Music” at the Cesar in 2007.
Jerome continued to work as a film composer and has collaborated since with filmmakers Christophe Ali, Nicolas Bonilauri, Raphaël Nadjari, Emmanuel Courcol, Mathilde Bayle, Pierre Isoard, Olivier Langlois, Sylvie Ayme.
